ive been having listening issues again. i have big ears but i dont know how to use them! hehe. i guess i still have that to work on! im just not used to being told what to do =P but i do listen when treats are involved!

Squeaky Clean

i got my second bath yesterday. this time it wasnt as scary. i think theyre gonna make it a weekly thing. eek! the weather is a lot better though. its like summer again!

But my people didnt want me to go outside yesterday because i was squeaky clean and i tend to roll in the dirt...especially since i dont like the way my coat feels when its suuuuper clean. so..i spend the rest of yesterday in the house.

giving my computer a weekly routine virus scan. i hope i dont have to give it a flea dip next!

After The Egg Hunt...

Well, yesterday after the egg hunt, I got a lil distracted by something i've never quite seen before. I mean, it was ugly...and it had strange hind legs! Wise Cat calls it a grasshopper, but it doesnt look like grass, and i havent seen it hop.

it turns out, he wasnt so dead afterall. he escaped and hid in the bushes until a bird got him! either way, he wasnt destined to live. *moment of silence*

Egg Huntin'

This is my very first Easter in my new home. Old Wise Cat and I went on an egg hunt in our backyard!

Eventually, she got lazy so she made me do most of the work while she sat around and loafed. Typical cat! hehe. Oh well, I had fun! Like my little basket?

Trick 4 Treat!

It's just a lil somethin' i learned during my mini vacation ;)

Besides that sillyness, I wanted to wish everyone a happy Good Friday/Easter weekend and a HAPPY EARTH DAY!

I wanted to go outside and enjoy nature, but the weather was yucky-poo. But who says that you cant celebrate our planet any other day? Dog owners, remember to pick up after your pooches! hehe.

My 1st (Real) Bath!

This is what happened today:


I got my first REAL bath!

An actual bath with water, and not the usual foamy/wipes thing that I get daily. I was really terrified of the water at first, but after awhile, i didnt wanna get out! the only thing i didnt like was the blow-drying afterwards *shakes* I overheard one of my people say "he'll get used to it as we do it more and more"

What?? You mean im gonna be doing this AGAIN in the future?! Aye.

I guess rolling in yucky things has its consequences =P

At least i dont smell anymore!

And So Im Back...From Outer Space!

The humans do this thing at church where they give something up for 40 days. I wanted to join in too, so I gave up the computer. But I only gave myself 2 weeks. I'm a dog, my lifespan is short compared to the average human =P. Besides, Lady Whiskers bet that I couldnt do it. She was wrong! Anyway..

What have i been up to? Nothing much. My people think that i need to tone it down with my barking. Well, they wouldnt exactly call me a barker, I just do this BAR RAR RAR! thing everytime strangers walk by. Or if I hear strange noises.

In my defense...its an automatic reflex for me. Kinda like you humans when someone scares you, what do you do? You scream. I never understood that, but you cant help it sometimes. So when something startles me, I say BAR RAR RAR!! But I'll work on that, if that's what will make the humans happy :)

this blog post is dediCATed to someone special....

thats right! Old Wise Cat turns 16 years old today! I didnt even think animals lived that long...especially ones that live off of cat food. I guess with age comes wisdom.

so, Happy Birthday Old Wise Cat! I hope to celebrate more with you!
